Mohammadabad: City in heart of desert

Mohammadabad, which lies 65 kilometers southeast of Isfahan, is one of the historical cities in Iran.

Mohammadabad reportedly dates back to the Sassanid era. The central part of the city is famous for its historical texture.

Mohammadabad, situated at the foot of Kolah Qazi Mountain, has many tourist attractions, including Kolah Qazi protected area, Bagh Mir building, and Jame’ Mosque.
